Anhui Xuancheng Power Plant Noise Reduction Project
Engineering Images The noise reduction project for the cooling towers at Anhui Xuancheng Power Plant commenced construction in December 2014 and was completed in May 2015. The scope of work included sound-absorbing and sound-isolating screen structures, soundproof doors, and related auxiliary materials.
Huaneng Beijing Power Plant Noise Reduction Project
Engineering Images The noise reduction project for the second phase of Huadian Beijing Thermal Power Plant is located in Gaobeidian, on the eastern outskirts of Beijing. With an installed capacity of 845,000 kilowatts, the plant supplies 10% of Beijing's electricity, 70% of its gas supply, and meets 30% of the city's centralized heating needs. As the nation’s largest combined heat and power enterprise in terms of heating capacity, the plant achieves an average annual thermal efficiency of over 60%, surpassing conventional coal-fired power plants by more than 20 percentage points. The noise reduction project was undertaken in April 2011 and completed in June 2012. The scope of work included soundproof doors, silencers, soundproof windows, and composite soundproof panels, among other components.
Shanghai Fengxian Converter Station Noise Reduction Project
The Shanghai Fengxian Converter Station of the State Grid is located within Fengxian District, Shanghai, situated in the southeastern part of the city—approximately 45 km in a straight line from downtown. Specifically, it’s nestled in Hengqiao Village, Shaocang Community, Situan Town, at the border between Fengxian and Nanhui Districts. The station features a total of 28 converter transformers: 24 operational BOX-IN units and 4 backup BOX-IN units. This station serves as a key component of the State Grid’s UHV demonstration project. Construction of the station’s noise-reduction project commenced in September 2009 and was completed by May 2010.
Tianjin Fuyuan Power Plant Noise Reduction Project
The site for the first-phase project of Tianjin Huadian Fuyuan Combined Heat and Power Co., Ltd.'s gas-based distributed energy station is located within the Wuqing Development Zone in Tianjin. The facility utilizes a gas-steam combined-cycle unit to deliver integrated cooling, heating, and power services, supported by an accompanying district heating and cooling network. This system will supply heating, steam, centralized cooling, and domestic hot water to both the Wuqing Development Zone and parts of Wuqing’s urban area, while the generated electricity will be fed into the regional power grid. This is a new construction project that broke ground in November 2013 and was completed in July 2014. It features an installed capacity of four 200 MW-class gas-steam combined-cycle heating units, with Phase I consisting of two 200 MW units. The entire project is planned in two phases, with Phase I already underway.
Guangdong Dapu Power Plant Noise Reduction Project
Guangdong Yue Dian's Dapu Power Plant is located in Huidong Village, Sanhe Town, Dapu County, Guangdong Province, approximately 15 kilometers from Dapu County seat. With a total investment of 5.3 billion yuan, construction began in 2014. The project features two state-of-the-art 600-megawatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units built using the most advanced environmental protection technologies and processes. A specialized noise-control project under the EPC contracting model was also implemented. Construction kicked off in November 2015 and was completed by the end of June 2016.
