The site of the State Grid Shanghai Fengxian Converter Station is located in Fengxian District, Shanghai, in the southeast of Shanghai, with a straight-line distance of about 45kM from the urban area. The specific location is in Shaochang Community, Si Tuan Town, at the junction of Fengxian District and Nanhui District. Hengqiao Village. There are 24 working converter transformers BOX-IN and 4 spare converter transformers BOX-IN, totaling 28 units. The station is a UHV demonstration project of the State Grid. Fengxian Converter Station Noise Reduction Engineering Company started construction in September 2009 and completed the project in May 2010.
