Noise Control for Zhongyuan Petrochemical Air Compressor Units
Engineering Images Located on Shengli West Road in Puyang City, Henan Province, Sinopec Zhongyuan Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is a large-scale petrochemical enterprise. The company operates multiple centrifugal air compressor units, which generate noise levels exceeding 100 dBA—severely disrupting workers' ability to perform their tasks effectively. In August 2019, the company assembled a team of experts to analyze the noise sources and implement targeted measures. By the end of the same year, the project was completed, successfully achieving the desired noise reduction results.
Noise Reduction Project at Wellhead Oil and Gas Field No. 5 Joint Station
Engineering Images Located in Gaizikumu Township, Shaya County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the No. 5 Combined Station of the Shunbei Oilfield under China Petrochemical Corporation’s Northwest Oilfield Branch is primarily addressing noise issues caused by equipment operating above standard levels. The main focus of the project is to mitigate noise from the booster compressor room, external transfer compressor room, and crude oil stabilization compressor room. According to the client’s requirements, both indoor and outdoor noise levels during equipment operation must remain within the decibel limits specified by national standards and detailed in the design drawings. Additionally, a third-party inspection and certification report confirming noise reduction measures must be provided. Construction commenced on January 4, 2021, and was completed on May 31, 2021.
