BASF's Phase III R&D Project: Rooftop Landscape Sound Barrier Installation

Category Belonging

BASF's Phase III R&D project includes two brand-new R&D buildings located in the Shanghai Innovation Park at Waigaoqiao, Pudong—BASF’s largest R&D hub in the Asia-Pacific region. Since its inauguration in 2012, BASF has invested a total of approximately €280 million in the Shanghai Innovation Park, further strengthening its innovation capabilities to better serve the needs of customers across China and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

As a large foreign-invested enterprise, BASF can be described as exceptionally demanding when it comes to product quality, engineering standards, and design aesthetics. Meanwhile, Shenhua Company, a leading player in China’s environmentally friendly noise-reduction industry, successfully won the bid for this project thanks to its outstanding products and premium services. After construction was completed, both the noise reduction performance and the aesthetic integration with the surrounding landscape received high praise from the client!
