Guangdong Yue Dian's Dapu Power Plant is located in Huidong Village, Sanhe Town, Dapu County, Guangdong Province, approximately 15 kilometers from Dapu County seat. With a total investment of 5.3 billion yuan, construction began in 2014. The project features two state-of-the-art 600-megawatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units built using the most advanced environmental protection technologies and processes. A specialized noise-control project under the EPC contracting model was also implemented. Construction on this noise-control initiative commenced in November 2015 and was completed by the end of June 2016.
