Ningbo City Rail Transit Line 4 Extension Project – Sound Barrier Installation
The noise barrier construction project for the extension of Ningbo Metro Line 4 is being undertaken by Shanghai Shenhua Acoustic Equipment Co., Ltd. The project spans the section between Cicheng Station and Cicheng West Station and features a fully enclosed noise barrier system, complemented by a small number of upright-type barriers. The fully enclosed barriers are designed with a gate-shaped closed-frame structure tailored to varying bridge widths, with a longitudinal spacing of 2 meters and a height of approximately 7 meters.
Wuhan Rail Transit Caidian Line Sound Barrier Project
The Wuhan Caidian Line project broke ground in January 2018 and was completed in September 2018. The line has a total length of 16.05 km, including approximately 2.9 km of elevated track. Along the elevated section, fully enclosed sound barriers totaling 1,356 meters and upright sound barriers measuring 1,824 meters have been installed across four separate sections.
