Ningbo City Rail Transit Line 4 Extension Project – Sound Barrier Installation
The sound barrier construction project for the extension of Ningbo Metro Line 4 was undertaken in 2023 by Shanghai Shenhua Acoustic Equipment Co., Ltd. Located between Cicheng Station and Cicheng West Station, the project features a fully enclosed sound barrier as its main structure, complemented by a small number of upright-type barriers. The fully enclosed barriers utilize a portal-style closed-frame design, tailored to accommodate varying bridge widths, with a longitudinal spacing of 2 meters and a height of approximately 7 meters.
