On August 30, 2022, the Jinyi section of the Zhejiang JinYiDong Intercity Rail Transit System—connecting Jinhua and Yiwu—officially began operations, marking the start of a new era of integrated transportation for the time-honored "Eight Wus" region. The entire JinyiDong line spans 107.17 kilometers, running from Jinhua Station to Hengdian Passenger Transport Center, with a designed top speed of 120 km/h. Of this, the newly opened Jinyi section stretches 58.4 kilometers and features 17 stations. Once operational, the fastest travel time between downtown Jinhua and downtown Yiwu will be just 36 minutes, significantly reducing the distance between the two cities and providing residents along the route with a fast, convenient, and comfortable public transportation experience.

During the early stages of construction, the owner and the design team collaborated closely to plan and design solutions specifically addressing noise-sensitive areas. The primary measures adopted for sound insulation and noise reduction included vertical sound barriers and fully enclosed sound barriers. Our company successfully won the bid for this project. In total, the construction of vertical and fully enclosed sound barriers spans 8,183 linear meters.
