Engineering Picture       The second phase noise reduction project of Huaneng Beijing Thermal Power Plant is located in Gaobeidian, eastern suburbs of Beijing, with an installed capacity of 845,000 kilowatts and is responsible for 10% of Beijing's power supply, 70% of gas supply and 30% of central heating. The company is the country's largest heat-supply cogeneration company. The annual average thermal efficiency of the units is above 60%, which is 20% higher than that of conventional thermal power plants. The noise reduction project of the plant was undertaken in April 2011, and the construction was completed in June 2012. The engineering volume includes sound insulation doors, mufflers, sound insulation windows, sound insulation composite panels, etc.
