The Shanghai Metro Line 9 Sound Barrier Project was awarded to our company in February of this year. The project involves adding sound barriers along an already operational line, requiring measurements and installation to be carried out exclusively during nighttime train shutdowns. However, the sudden outbreak of the pandemic disrupted the original construction schedule, presenting significant challenges such as compressed timelines, night-time operations, and high-altitude work. Despite these obstacles, the project team has risen to the occasion, adhering to a people-first approach by rigorously implementing all epidemic prevention and control measures—now fully committed to advancing the project smoothly and efficiently.

Shanghai Metro Line 15 spans a total length of 42 kilometers, all of which is underground, featuring 30 underground stations. Our company supplied and installed all the fire doors for the passageways alongside the line’s tunnels, with a completion deadline set before mid-July. Recently, a delegation of more than ten members—led by representatives from Shanghai Metro Line 15 Construction Company, including personnel from design, construction, supervision, and inspection teams—visited our facility to conduct random inspections of the tunnel passageway fire doors. All inspected products fully met the relevant technical specifications.
The side passage fire-rated door is an eco-friendly, noise-reducing product specifically developed and designed by our company for subway tunnel applications. It boasts proprietary intellectual property rights and features Class-A fire protection, exceptional wind-pressure resistance, automatic opening and closing capabilities, long-lasting durability, and easy maintenance. This product represents the company’s latest innovation in environmentally friendly, noise-control solutions—offering unique advantages that set it apart from competitors while outperforming existing offerings. Currently, it has been widely adopted across various tunnel sections of Shanghai’s metro system.
